Welcome Back Counselors!

As the new academic year is now underway, our team at the CUNY Welcome Center is prepared to assist you with all of your admission needs. This year, we have several exciting announcements that will aid you and your students in the college search.

Explore, Prepare, Apply

This year we have installed a new approach on our Website for undergraduates to apply to CUNY -- Explore, Prepare, Apply . Prospective students should visit our Explore pages to get a sense of the many outstanding options that await them at CUNY. Next, students should get ready to apply to CUNY by visiting our Prepare pages: read through our Admission Review Process; see our Application Deadlines; and download/print the Freshman Application Worksheet. Before they Apply, encourage your students to visit our individual college Websites and sign up for college VIP accounts to receive communications directly from their college choices.

Counselor Binders

Created exclusively with your needs in mind, the Counselor Binder is your resource to everything CUNY and includes: our viewbook, academic grid, athletics information, sample worksheets, admission profiles, CUNY Welcome Center directory, and more. Additional inserts and updates for the binder can be found in the download section at the bottom right corner of this page.

Ask CUNY

Have a specific question about CUNY, but can't find the answer? Why not ask our Virtual Advisor? Our search tool is updated daily with answers to your questions. Look for the Ask CUNY icon throughout the CUNY Website.

Help Desk for Counselors

Even with all of these improvements, we realize that support for technical or general issues is necessary. Please feel free to contact our Help Desk for Counselors with your inquiries at counselor@mail.cuny.edu or call 212-290-5607 during regular business hours.
