GREENING CERTIFICATE IN THE URBAN FOOD SYSTEM
Spotlight on Kingsborough Community College
The Center for Economic and Workforce Development (CEWD) at Kingsborough Community College is pleased to offer a new Greening Certificate in the Urban Food System, designed to support the operational and financial changes taking place in this sector. Classes discuss urban farming, food processing operations, commercial kitchens, and the "green" triple bottom line.
NATIONAL EMERGENCY GRANTS FOR CUNY TUITION
Spotlight on Availability of NEG funds
Students at CUNY colleges throughout New York City have begun using National Emergency Grant funds that they have received from the New York State Department of Labor to pay tuition in continuing education and degree programs. NEG funds are available to individuals who have been dislocated from the finance industry owing to a mass layoff or a business closing. Eligible students should contact individual colleges to learn more.

The 50+ Club continues to grow with new offerings in the arts, humanities, technology, health, fitness and career development for students 50 years and above.
